Dallas’ Breakfast delight…

Ingredients

1 Cup Cornflakes

200ml Sungold Milk (the blue bottle)

2 apricot halves (other fruits, fresh or canned)

2 slices Multi Grain bread (Thick Sliced)

Margarine or Butter (not too much )

Honey or jam or peanut butter (you can mix these – peanut butter & honey is good together)

1 tea bag

Boiling water

½ teaspoon of sugar

Dash of Sungold milk (the red bottle this time)

Instructions:

1. Boil kettle and make a cup of tea.  The longer you leave the teabag in, the stronger your tea will be.  Avoid leaving in there for longer than 3 minutes.  Add sugar and milk to taste.  If you forget to take out the teabag and the tea is strong, just add more milk and it will be drinkable, but you may need reheat in the microwave.

2. Combine Cornflakes, milk & fruit.  Before chowing down, push the bread down in the toaster.  Eat the Cornflakes as fast as you can so that you are finished before the toast pops up.  If you are a slow eater, wait a minute or two before pushing the bread down as there is nothing worse than cold toast.

3. Once finished the cornflakes, butter the toast (don’t go overboard).  Add the desired condiment to compliment your taste buds and sip away at your tea.  If your toast has gone cold, try dipping it in your tea (except if you have peanut butter on your toast).

This should give you a great start to the day and keep the munchies away!
