Gene joined Silvan Ridge in 2003 and is a Partner in the practice. Gene has had many years experience in the financial services industry, having worked in banking for 15 years before becoming a financial adviser. Gene’s passion for his work is second to none, and he enjoys taking the time to get to know his clients on a personal level to understand their individual needs, plans and frustrations. He educates his clients and finds it rewarding to be able to take away their financial concerns. Gene is a keen cyclist, active member of the community and involved in raising money for local charities.

Dallas joined Silvan Ridge in 2000 and has been a Partner in the practice since 2003. Dallas brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the business and enjoys the challenge of putting together client investment strategies. His biggest reward is the appreciation shown by clients when he makes such a difference to their finances and their overall lives. A devoted family man, Dallas lives in Koroit and loves being involved in sporting and community affairs.

Emma joined Silvan Ridge in 2008 while studying, beginning in a part-time administrative role before becoming a financial adviser in 2012. Emma loves the way she can put a smile on her client’s faces and knowing she has made a positive impact on their lives. As a very people-orientated person, Emma enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to the gym and travelling – her favourite destination (so far) is Ireland.

Carina joined Silvan Ridge Financial Services in 2005 as a Paraplanner. During her time in this role Carina was involved in the preparation of financial strategies and used this valuable experience to transition to a Financial Planner. Carina enjoys seeing her clients achieve their financial goals and takes great pride in knowing she has played such an important role. Carina is married with three children and knows more than ever the value of financial protection and the need for sound strategic advice.

Ryan has been a member of the team at Silvan Ridge since 2018, at which time he graduated from Deakin University with a bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Financial Planning and Accounting.  Since joining Silvan Ridge, Ryan is enjoying learning about the overall approach we take to providing financial advice and is rapidly is expanding his knowledge of the industry as he is mentored by fellow colleagues.  Ryan has a passion for Financial Planning and aspires to become an outstanding Financial Planner here at Silvan Ridge.  In his free time, Ryan enjoys playing and watching sport and has a real love for Cricket in particular.

Lewys started at Silvan Ridge at the start of 2021 after graduating from Deakin University with a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Financial Planning. Lewys has spent his time learning as much as he can from the other experienced team members about the financial advice industry and enjoys the real-world application of his studies.

Outside of work, Lewys enjoys going to the gym, spending time with friends and family, and cooking in his new house.

Angela has many years experience in offering administrative support for our clients and Advisers.  Angela always makes herself readily available for all of her client’s requirements and will often put herself into her client’s shoes to ensure they are feeling happy and comfortable.  Ange is a dedicated team player and a real asset to our team.  When not at work, Ange enjoys getting into the outdoors camping with friends and family, reading and gardening.

Mel joined Silvan Ridge in May 2008. Mel oversees many of the operations at Silvan Ridge and is talented in implementing processes and procedures that enable staff to deliver the best possible experience and outcomes for our clients. She has broad range of skills and experience after working in the pharmaceutical industry for many years. Mel’s hobbies include going to the gym, travelling to sunny destinations and spending time with her family.

Rachel joined Silvan Ridge in December 2013. Rachel brings a variety of experience to Silvan Ridge, having spent all of her career within the financial services industry. She enjoys marketing and IT and combines these skills to deliver the best possible outcomes for our clients. She is always willing to take the extra step to ensure clients outcomes are met. Rachel continues to work in this industry to uncover what she is passionate about in life. She loves to travel and to spend time with her family.

Amanda has many years of experience working within the financial services industry, commencing her career as a junior receptionist at Silvan Ridge and then learning the ropes over many years, while working across various roles within the industry. What Amanda enjoys most about her work is supporting clients by providing assistance and offering solutions in any areas required. Amanda will always strive to achieve the best outcomes for clients and ensure they feel comfortable and at ease, whilst Silvan Ridge manage their financial affairs.

Outside of work, Amanda’s young children keep her very busy, ferrying them around to their various sporting pursuits and the like. Amanda also loves to keep active and get creative in the kitchen.
